These sandals from Birkenstock have a large gold buckle and the upper is made from extra thick oiled nubuck leather and the lining is covered with smooth soft leather. The nappa leather insole is high quality and easy to shape and is a good material for the lining of the footbed of these sandals. The cork footbed is extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak and the natural product is insulating and offers good cushioning. The EVA outsole is lightweight, elastic and also provides good cushioning while smoothing out slight irregularities in the floor.
